ADMISSION PROCEDURE

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR ENTRY LEVEL (PRE SCHOOL) FOR OPEN SEATS (OTHER THAN EWS / DG/ CWSN CATEGORY SEATS) FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 2026-27.

1. Registration

Online Registration Forms are available for open seats Nursery (Balvatika 1/ Pre School) General Category at the Web Site www.hrssss.co.in which will be submitted along with the non-refundable, non-transferable Registration Fee of Rs. 25/- Admission Criteria as per schedule given by the department Circular No. F.DE.15 (172) PSB/2016/ 9179-9188 DATED 22-11-2025 with Admission Schedule is given below: -

• Admission shall be only on the basis of fixed parameters and points as prescribed in the procedure.
• 25% seats for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Disadvantaged Group and CWSN as defined under the Right to Education Act, 2009.

3. Age Limit — Nursery (Bal Vatika / Pre School I)

For admission in the academic Session 2026-27, a child must have attained the prescribed minimum age as on 31 March 2026. A child entering Nursery at age 3+ years in session 2026-27 will be in Class I at 6+ years.

Eligible birth dates (both days inclusive): 01-04-2022 to 31-03-2023.
Less than 4 years for admission in Nursery as on 31-03-2026.
Age relaxation up to 30 days may be granted by the Head of School on written/manual application — parents should approach the Head of School / Principal for this request.

4. Restructuring of Foundation Stage (effective from Academic Session 2026-27)

The child admitted in Nursery (Bal Vatika / Pre School I) in academic Session 2026-27 will follow three years of Pre-Primary education before Class I:

The nomenclature of the Pre-Primary classes will be: Nursery, Lower K.G., Upper K.G.

5. Admission Parameters & Points

Admission will be given according to the parameters below and draw of lots if required.

Note: No points will be given to third/fourth child of the same parent.

6. List of supporting self-attested documents (Photocopy) — to be uploaded at Registration (Mandatory)

Date of Birth Certificate with name of candidate.
Copy of Aadhaar Card of the candidate / parents.
One passport size coloured photograph of the candidate.
Proof of sibling (recent report-card / school identity card).
Proof of alumni (X or XII passing certificate of parent).
Proof of residence (any one — Voter ID / Ration Card in parent’s name showing child / Domicile certificate / Electricity bill / MTNL bill / Water bill / Passport in parent’s name).

Reminder: Submission of Registration Form does not guarantee admission.
